We collect personal information that you voluntarily provide to us when you register on the application, express an interest in obtaining information about us or our products and Services, when you participate in activities on the Services, or otherwise when you contact us.
We use personal information collected via our app for a variety of business purposes described below. We process your personal information for these purposes in reliance on our legitimate business interests, in order to enter into or perform a contract with you, with your consent, and/or for compliance with our legal obligations.
We only share information with your consent, to comply with laws, to provide you with services, to protect your rights, or to fulfill business obligations.
We keep your account information, mood entries, journal entries, and app preferences for as long as your account remains active or as long as needed to provide the Services to you. If you ask us to delete your account, we will delete or anonymize your personal data from our active systems within a reasonable period, unless we must keep certain information for legal, security, fraud-prevention, or regulatory reasons.
You can delete your data at any time by using the in-app account deletion option available in Settings > Delete Account. When you confirm account deletion, your MicroJournal account and associated personal data, including your mood history, journal entries, and saved preferences, will be scheduled for deletion from our active systems.
If you cannot access the app or need help with deletion, you may also request deletion by emailing a.bayrgorkem@gmail.com from the email address linked to your account. We may ask you to verify ownership of the account before processing the request.
We have implemented appropriate technical and organizational security measures designed to protect the security of any personal information we process. However, despite our safeguards and efforts to secure your information, no electronic transmission over the Internet or information storage technology can be guaranteed to be 100% secure.
